Ingredient List:
For Short Ribs:
- 2lbs @thecedarmarket flanken cut short rib
- (1.5-1.75lbs if using boneless)
- 1 tbsp salt
For Sauce:
- 1/2 cup @sanj hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 3 cloves crushed garlic

- 1 package broccoli florets
- Rice to serve

Cooking Instructions
Season the beef with salt and bake at 200℉ on a parchment lined sheet pan until it hits an internal temp of 115-120℉ (about 90 minutes). While the meat cooks, mix all your sauce ingredients together. Add to the microwave and cook for 6-7 minutes in two intervals until reduced. [This time depends on your microwave power, so you may need to adjust].
Wash and check broccoli florets and place in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of water to the bowl and cover. Microwave for 5 minutes to steam.
Remove short ribs from the oven and remove bones. Slice the beef into 1 inch thick cubes. Add short ribs back to the sheet pan. Spray with oil and broil for 3-4 minutes. Let the beef cool a bit, then add to the reduced sauce. Toss and serve over rice with the broccoli.
