One Pan Hoisin Chicken

Ingredients for the chicken:

  • 1 family pkg @thecedarmarket boneless skinless thighs (pargiot) approx 2lbs
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 2 small yellow onions
  • 1 container @thecedarmarket sliced zucchini sticks
  • Oil for frying

For the sauce

  • 1/4 cup @san-jtamari hoisin sauce
  • 5 cubes @dorotgardens crushed garlic
  • 3 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp salt

Cooking Instructions

Cube the chicken into the desired size. Toss with corn starch, salt & 1.5 tbsp of rice vinegar, then set it aside.

Cut the onions into 1/8th chunk wedges.

Add together the remaining sauce ingredients. After 15 minutes, add oil to your fry pan and shallow fry the chicken, roughly 3 minutes per side.

Remove chicken from the pan and add the onions and zucchini. Once they have softened, add the sauce and then add in the chicken, tossing it all together for another minute.

Serve over rice & enjoy!
