Cooking Instructions
Cut a sheet of aluminum foil more than twice as long as your brisket and lay it over a sheet pan. Cut an equal sized sheet of parchment paper and crumple it into a ball, then dip it in water. Lay the parchment paper over the foil.
Place the brisket in the middle of the paper and rub well with molasses. Flip and rub the other side. Coat the exterior with your rub and the smoked paprika and repeat on the other side. Be sure to pat the exterior, to ensure the rub adheres.
Close up the parchment paper around the brisket and then seal up with the foil. Cut a new piece of aluminum foil and wrap the brisket once again in a new sheet of foil. Place it back on the sheet pan and add it to a 225℉ oven and cook for 8 hours.
Remove and unwrap. Let rest for 10 minutes then cut in half with the grain THEN slice against the grain for short slices.
Plate & enjoy!
