I don’t know about you, but for me, baking has always felt like homework. You have to measure everything precisely, use a bunch of bowls and if you get a proportion wrong the whole thing ends up tasting like a shoe. That’s why I love this pizza dough pita hack. I get fresh steaming puffy pitas, with none of the homework or mess!
Cooking Instructions
Defrost your dough and let it rise overnight (or don’t) and you’re ready to go!
Cut it into balls between the size of a golf ball and tennis ball, then roll out about 1/4 thick. You can also stretch by hand.
Preheat your oven to a 475℉ and add a sheet pan or griddle to the oven. Once the oven hits its temp, remove the sheet pan or griddle, add your pitas to it and put back into the oven.
Bake for approximately 3-4 minutes then remove from oven.
Fill your pita with whatever you wish & enjoy!
